Week one down!

I can't believe a week flew by already!

We started things off in Waterloo, IA and man can those corn-fed kids party. It was our first show but you would never know. The festival kicked off right on time at 2pm and between the band signings, killer sets and tattoos, the day flew by and started what will be a sweet next two months.

Moving onto Kansas City, MO and Oklahoma City, OK the HeadBang for the Highway band winners slammed through their sets on our Ernie Ball HeadBang for the Highway stage. Throughout the day you could get an autograph from Chimaira at the Samsung area as well as tattoo your phone....so much to do.

After a much needed day off in Hays, Ks {whoo hoo}, we headed for the tundra of Denver, CO. Our first day in Denver was beautiful. A sold out show at the Fillmore, they even gave us a trophy for a sold out show! The next morning though, we woke up to a winter not-so-wonderful wonderland. Dumping down on Denver the most snow they'd seen in twelve months, the show teetered on cancelling but in true rock form, all the bands went on, on time and without a single complaint!

We waited out the storm before driving all day and night through New Mexico to get to Phoenix for our show there Saturday. The tattoo area was alive with more than 7 booths full of kids getting everything from Music as a Weapon logos to an entire arm piece in one day!! This was the first day of our Red Bull motocross jump exibition....they call those jumps a Hart-Attack for a reason! You HAVE TO see it...All day the kids kept up outside and in with Chimaira, Lacuna Coil, Killswitch Engage and Disturbed completely rocking the house. Every fan left there with a smile on their face and sometimes a wayward shoe donated to the moshpit-gods...

Now we are here in Albuquerque, NM to a packed house. Can't wait to see what the second week brings us. We'll mess with Texas...
